Referrals: half of every fee, paid the same block

Your link pays you 50% of every trade fee it generates — climbing to 80% as your rolling 30-day volume grows — settled on-chain in the same transaction as the trade itself.

The referral program is wired into the fee instruction itself: when a trade executes through your link, the 1% fee splits in the same transaction — half of it to you at the base tier. There is no claim flow, no monthly payout, no minimum threshold; the settlement is part of the trade's atomic instruction, so the earning lands in the same block as the swap. Nothing is ever held, which is why there's nothing to withdraw.

The link is the whole instrument

Sharing is one URL. A /share/ hop stamps a one-year referral cookie and redirects through ?ref=, so the attribution survives both server-side and client-side — and once the page mints it, a pretty /@handle resolves through the exact same flow. The page also renders a ready-made share card and prewritten post lines, so the whole instrument is: copy the link, or post the card. The wallet that connects here is your main one — the account's pubkey becomes the referral identity, and nothing on this page ever asks it to sign.

The tier is volume you can see, not a promo code

Base pays 50% of every fee. The split climbs toward 80% as the fees you generate — your own trading plus your referrals' trading, combined — accumulate over a rolling 30-day window. Tiers re-earn on that same rolling window, so a big month buys a rate, not a lifetime rank. The tier card on the page shows your rung, the next rung's fee bar, and progress measured from your current floor — the mechanism is auditable rather than a promise, because generated fees come from on-chain fee instructions the ledger can count.

The one honest edge: an empty wallet can't be paid

The split is an on-chain transfer inside your referee's transaction — which means a transfer aimed at an empty wallet, one holding zero SOL, would fail and take the whole trade down with it. So the program skips unfunded wallets: the page tells you plainly "this wallet holds no SOL, so it can't be paid yet," and the full fee goes to the platform until you send the wallet any amount of SOL. Earning starts automatically from the next trade. It's the one maintenance task the program has — and the difference between a referral page that describes reality and one that quietly keeps your cut.

An earnings ledger, not a dashboard of vibes

The stats row reads like a payout statement: how many times you've been paid, when the latest landed, and all-time SOL — with a dated recent-payouts list naming the wallet each payment came from. The numbers are the same on-chain fee instructions the tier calculation reads, so what you see is what the split sees.

Shared a link before? The burner sweep

Older share links locked referees to in-site burner wallets. The page runs a claim sweep for exactly that: an ed25519-signed message — only the burner's real owner can produce it — moves those referees, their lifetime earnings and their history onto your connected wallet. If a claim can't reach the server it's stashed locally and retried, so a dropped connection never loses a referee.

The honest caveat: a referral split pays on trades that happen, not trades that profit. The honest version of promoting a DEX is sending people to a tool with a real scanner, not promising their fills will win — that part is always theirs.

Frequently asked

How much do HostDeFi referrals pay?

50% of every trade fee at base, climbing to 80% as the fees you generate over a rolling 30-day window grow — your own trading plus your referrals' trading combined.

How are referral earnings paid out?

In the trade itself: the fee instruction splits at execution, so your share lands on-chain in the same block as the referred user's swap. No claim flow, no threshold, no payout schedule.

Do referrals need an account or signup?

No signup wall — a visitor arriving on your link picks up a consent-based referral cookie, and the account wallet they use carries your split on its trades.

What can I see on the referrals page?

Your link to copy, your earnings ledger — payout count, latest payment, all-time SOL and the dated payout list — plus your points tier rung and the fee bar to the next split.

Why does the page say my wallet can't be paid yet?

The referral split is an on-chain transfer inside the referee's transaction — a transfer into a wallet holding zero SOL would fail and take the whole trade down with it, so unfunded wallets are skipped and the fee goes to the platform. Send the wallet any amount of SOL and earning starts automatically on the next trade.

I referred people on an old HostDeFi link — do they move to my wallet?

Yes. Older links locked referees to in-site burner wallets; the page runs a claim sweep that moves those referees, their lifetime earnings and their history onto your connected wallet behind an ed25519 signature only the burner's owner can produce — and a claim that can't reach the server is stashed and retried.
